1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Alven Monta ("we", "our", "us"). By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Alven Monta provides professional house decluttering and organisation services including but not limited to:

  • Home assessment and consultation
  • Decluttering and organisation
  • Storage solutions design and implementation
  • Donation coordination and disposal assistance
  • Follow-up support and maintenance planning

Specific services will be agreed upon during the consultation and confirmed in writing.

3. Booking and Payment

Consultation

An initial consultation is required before commencing services. This consultation may be conducted in person or virtually.

Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking
  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed
  • We accept bank transfer, card payments, and other agreed methods
  • All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable

Cancellation

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled appointment are eligible for a full refund
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before may forfeit the deposit
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances

4. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your home and organisation needs
  • Be present during sessions or designate an authorised representative
  • Ensure safe access to all areas requiring organisation
  • Make final decisions regarding items to keep, donate, or discard
  • Inform us of any hazardous materials or special conditions
  • Provide adequate parking or access for our team

5. Our Responsibilities

We commit to:

  • Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
  • Treat your home and belongings with respect and care
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding your personal information
  • Provide professional guidance and recommendations
  • Work efficiently to achieve your organisation goals

6. Liability

Property Damage

While we take utmost care, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to items or property
  • Damage to items of sentimental value unless we were specifically warned
  • Items disposed of at your direction
  • Normal wear and tear during the organisation process

Personal Injury

We maintain appropriate insurance. However, clients are responsible for ensuring their property is safe for our team to work in.

Loss of Items

We are not responsible for valuable items that are not disclosed to us. We recommend securing jewellery, cash, and important documents before our arrival.

7. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and maintain strict confidentiality regarding:

  • The contents of your home
  • Personal information and documents
  • Details about your lifestyle and habits
  • Any sensitive information disclosed during our work

We will not share photos or information about your home without your explicit consent.

8. Disposal and Donations

We coordinate donation and disposal of unwanted items as part of our service. However:

  • Final decisions about disposal are yours
  • We cannot guarantee acceptance by donation centres
  • Hazardous materials require special handling at your expense
  • Large items may incur additional disposal fees
  • Once items leave your property, they cannot be retrieved

9. Intellectual Property

All organisational systems, methods, and documentation provided by Alven Monta remain our intellectual property. You may use them for personal purposes but may not reproduce or distribute them commercially.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute:

  • We encourage direct communication to resolve issues
  • Complaints should be submitted in writing within 14 days
  • We will respond to complaints within 7 business days
  • If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to UK law

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
